QEII Board & Organisational Structure
The QEII National Trust is a statutory organisation independent from government and managed by a Board of Directors.
Director Details
The Board comprises six directors. The Minister of Conservation appoints four directors after nominations have been called from the public, having due regard to environmental and conservation values, the interests of rural landowners and the interests of the Maori community.
QEII National Trust members elect the other two directors. The current Board comprises:

- Chairperson, Sir Brian Lochore - Masterton
- Deputy Chairperson, Yvonne Sharp - Kerikeri
- Bernard Card - Porirua
- Edward Ellison - Otakou

Staff
Twelve staff are based in the Wellington office and a further 27 part-time regional representatives work with landowners throughout the country.
