Saltmarsh: Controlling saltwater paspalum
Saltwater paspalum Paspalum vaginatum is an exotic perennial grass that forms dense mats along the margins of tidal flats or on sandy or gravel beaches.
It has value as a turf grass, for example, on golf courses, but poses a risk to estuaries by invading and changing the composition and structure of ecosystems.
